What Is Shekinah Wells?

Shekinah Wells Global Ministries Inc. is a USA-registered, globally focused ministry founded by Pastor Verie Johnson. The name "Shekinah Wells" carries deep prophetic meaning: Shekinah — the manifest, tangible presence of God; Wells — a source of living water that never runs dry, that goes deep, and that refreshes all who come to it.

This is not a ministry built on programs and performances. It is a ministry built on the presence of God — the kind of presence that heals trauma, breaks addiction, restores identity, and transforms communities. Verie does not believe in church as usual. She believes in church as it was always meant to be: a community of transformed people transforming the world around them.

Shekinah Wells operates in the USA through pastoral ministry, teaching, speaking, and consulting — and is actively building toward its flagship project: the Shekinah Wells Healing and Empowerment Campus in Namibia, a physical center that will embody the ministry's vision in the most tangible way possible.
